This was my first foray into Filipino food and I had a great experience. The portions here are moderate and the food tastes... great. The spicy foods aren't over spiced as a tolerance test, but instead rely on the blend of spices to achieve the desiredresult. The non-spicy dishes were similarly flavourful. There are choices for either end of the preferred palate spectrum. The service was speedy and polite. The atmosphere of the restaurant is well suited to table conversation. I was pleased tonote the complete absence of any wall mounted TVs, or loud music competing with the table talk. Read more

Love this place. The new spot is so much bigger, brighter, and fresher than the old one at Ropewalk, but the food is just as... good as it always was, and still great value. Great to see a little place like this making a go of it with its different cuisinein St. John's. Definitely the best place for Filipino food in the city! Is it currently my favourite place to meet friends for ameal? Heck yes! Ample wheelchair accessible parking, vegetarian options, great prices and fabulous food making this an easychoice for everyone.
