Excellent, definitely worth the visit. We had family from UK who found the whole time here very extensive in learning about the... lands here and the peoples. We arrived at 0930, but gift shop never opened until 1125; even though it said 1100. I guess youjust can't get reliable workers. Read more

Excellent restaurant located in the Waniskewin facilities. Wide range of choices and I would recommend the bison Burger, their... salad is excellent, and you have to try the maple Bannock. Read more

Great hiking trails, a fun park for the kids with swings and slides. A small but intriguing museum, restroom facilities, and... special events center. But the best part has to be the restaurant with its rustic menu items like Elk burgers and Bannock, hamburger soup, chicken tenders, fries and Saskatoon berry BBQ sauce just to name a few. There is lots to do and it's a greatplace to learn about indigenous history and culture while enjoying a great outdoors environment. Read more

I wasn't very hungry, so I ordered a bowl of soup and some bannock. Wow! A hearty bowl of the best beef (bison) noodle soup I... have ever had! Full of meat not the typical oodles of noodles with just a hint of meat, no this soup was the opposite with heapsof meat with a small helping of noodles! And the bannock was so incredibly delicious it didn't need the butter and jam that itcame with, but when the jam was an amalgam of three local Saskatchewan berries, well...., I just had to have some. What a meal!Truly delicious!!! THANK YOU! Read more
