Amazing restaurants for dine-in but the takeout is just not at par, as soon as reached home the food was cold. Could have been... well packaged. Missing Utilities. We haven't been to The Bistro in a while, but have always enjoyed the Fish and Chips on previous visits. We also like The... Bistro's proximity to our home in Stonebridge. Today was my husband's first lunch outing since his double knee replacementsurgery. We ordered our favourite meal, the Fish and Chips, and sadly, we were very disappointed. Ordered appetizers here and was very disappointed. I ordered the sirloin steak bites and was surprised that for $15 you get like... 8 bites and they are super small and overcooked. The rest of the plate is filled with cherry tomatoes and cucumbers maybe togive the illusion there is more food? I also ordered lettuce wraps and thought it was very average again for $15. the concept of "bistro restaurants" is not quite common in NA, compared to Europe. "bistro" is a Russian word for "fast", and... that, I think, makes the idea of The Village Bistro crystal clear. It's simple, it's quick, relatively cheap, but also sooogood. Read more
