The Service was poor. The food was not up to par. Have not been to Swiss Chalet for quite some time, my Husband and I thought... we would try it out again. We ordered the 1/2 chicken and the 1/4 chicken. My chicken was hard to remove from the bone and wasbloody down by the bone made me nervous and my husband told the waiter that he had more bone than chicken waiter agreed but didnothing to fix the situation. I ordered diet Pepsi and the glass was half full when brought to the table. My husband told meto relax there was refills. I had to ask 3 times to get my pop refill waiter kept forgetting. Then when it came to dessert,the waiter did not ask me if I was eating it at home and assumed so and brought my pie in a to go container, I guess he wantedus to leave. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth and my husband as well. Needless to say the experience will notbring us back to Swiss Chalet! Read more
Don't offer curb side pickup if you are not going to properly offer that service. I and may others often have to wait long... periods past the pickup time to maybe have the meal brought to the car. I have more to say, lots more about this location. ButI won't continue to waste my breath. Good and prompt service is obviously dead at this location. Read more
September 11/2022. Well had my first meal at Swiss Chalet Sarnia in over 2 years. What a disappointment and that is a big... understatement!!! Service was horrendous, dirty utensils and we had been there over an hour before we were told they were out ofFrench Fries and Baked Potatoes!! We arrived just before 5pm and did not leave until approximately 7:45pm. Will be a long whileif ever we go back. When we complained and rightfully so we were told by the shift manager we should more understanding becausethey had new kitchen staff! She apologized in a very unapologetic way. We have a party of seven and requested a major discountfrom the bill. The shift manager reluctantly gave us a measly 20%, not even the cost of 1 meal. We told her we would probablynot be back and her response “that’s your choice” how’s that for customer service and understanding! I seldom complainabout anything and have the patience of Job but come on. My advice if you plan to go there to eat go at lunch when they for sureshould have French fries and Baked potatoes and check the utensils before using. I would hate to see you get hepatitis. No service found Sept 10/22 for Chalet Valet service in Sarnia, London Rd location. Details - pulled up to Chalet Valet parking... spot on time for my 5:40pm order pickup. Confirmed arrival as per instructions. Received confirmation that the kitchen had beennotified. Finally went into take out area to find out how long my order was going to be. This location is notorious for being20-30 min late with orders so I expected it to be delayed. To the young lady's credit, she was honest & told me she forgot toactivate their Chalet Valet notifications. That meant that everyone waiting would continue doing so until they went in toinquire. I asked for & received help carrying out my order which had been sitting there for who knows how long. They missed thegravy, otherwise the order was packaged OK. No issue with the food otherwise. Recommendation to Swiss Chalet - get a bettersystem for your Chalet Valet, the one you have is poor. Read more
