I came here recently after passing by the restaurant several times. The restaurant had interesting music, slightly different... seating setup that reminded me of Japan, and decent service. In terms of food, I tried the Shio Tonkotsu Ramen. The soup basewas more flavourful and hearty than some other places, but it felt slightly too rich near the end. The noodles were slightlythicker than I am used to but it went well with the soup base as it soaked up more of the flavour. I tried the peanut-based ramen (can't remember the name). It was really nice and creamy, but could use some spice! Comes with... some basic toppings, but things like eggs, bamboo shoots etc. can be extra for some dishes. The staff were very pleasant. Gmen Ramen is a masterclass on how good ramen is done. The broth is a perfectly balance and carefully walked path of rich and... savory no matter the base you go with, carefully paired with the right ingredients. I went with their peanut and spicy base andit was perfectly balanced with its fatty flavours and hest, the savory balance of the pork and base brought out its intenseflavours. Their noodles are made onsite with expert detail. These noodles are bustin with flavour and capture your broth inevery bite. Their menu is also easy to follow for first timers as they have recommendations on where to start. The atmosphereand vibes here are also incredible, with Manga on the first shelf you see, multiple anime posters everywhere and mood settingmusic. They have this weird policy where you have to order in advance and pay in advance before seating. I wasn?t sure if I was suppose... to tip them or not in this case but I still gave them 15%. The food was ok. Tonkatsu shio ramen was salty and the miso wasworse. Just overall really salty. I ended up putting 3 spoons of ice water into the soup to dilute it.
