Ninkazu is a bit difficult to score because your experience is heavily based on what menu you order. You very much get what you... pay for. If you order cheap sushi, you should expect lower quality food. Ninkazu has three stacking menus with "C" being thelowest quality rolls - full of rice and cheap fish - and "A" being the sashimi cuts of better fish, also including everything onthe two lower level menus. Service is always friendly, and it's not difficult to catch a server's attention for refills andfresh orders. Tables are quickly cleaned between customers and empty plates are cleared every minute or three. Honestly, they'resome of the most alert staff I've found outside of high-end restaurants. The restaurant itself is utilitarian, but there's notmuch to complain about since you're there for all you can eat sushi, not ambiance and decor. Still, everyone in the restaurantalways seems to be having a good time. Overall, I really like Ninkazu. You get what you pay for. Read more

We came as a party of 6 with a toddler on a Wednesday dinner with reservations. It wasn?t that busy and we got their A+B+C... option. Considering the many all you can eat (AYCE) sushi closures across Vancouver especially after the pandemic, we aregrateful Richmond Ninkazu (used to be Richmond Sushi) is still around. Their food service was prompt considering how much weordered. We were satisfied with the overall food quality considering this was an AYCE (so not expecting high quality food).Prices are going up everywhere, not just restaurants so no complaints about their prices going up. I really hope we don?t losethis AYCE sushi place, especially now that we barely have any AYCE sushi options left in Vancouver. Some memorable itemsincluded the toro sashimi, Korean salmon sashimi, Gyutan (some cuts of the beef tongue were juicy, can be hit and miss), torchedsalmon sushi (charred flavor with decent quality salmon), and beef tataki. Tako sashimi was sweet and more crunchy than chewywhich I prefer. My husband thought the Hamachi sashimi could?ve been better, but I thought it was decent enough for AYCE. Iordered both the negitoro and the spicy tuna cone and expected more fish in a cone so was disappointed with the rice to fishratio in a cone. We did order a lot but did not get the asked amount, which I anticipated would happen (happens in most AYCE).At least we didn?t get anything extra that we did not ask for. We are looking forward to coming back again! Especially if we?recraving for a lot of fish! Read more

I came here for dinner recently. The restaurant was quite busy but service was quick. I got their B+C AYCE Option. Their salmon... sashimi was decently fresh with mediocre cuts. The tuna sashimi was a mesh. The sockeye salmon sashimi was so horrible that italmost made me get up and leave. The beef tataki was pretty good but the beef was slightly thick and somewhat chewy. The musselsstood out with the garlic sauce. The beef short ribs were good as they were decent cuts of short ribs and they were nicelycooked. The unagi sushi and chop chop sushi are worth trying as there were decent amounts of unagi and scallop respectively. The hamachi sushi, torched salmon sushi, and tuna sushi had a lot of rice and were average. The chicken wings and yakitori hadgood flavour but were quite dry. The shrimp tempura was pretty good but there was barely any yam in the yam tempura. The oystermotoyaki was pretty good. Overall, most of the items were okay other than the sashimi...which kind of defeats the point of AYCESashimi/Sushi? Read more

Great AYCE sushi for some late night cravings! This is a Richmond staple. The all you can eat menu gets cheaper at night time -... I believe after 20:30. The quality of the sushi is passable, I wouldn't say it's great but it's not bad either. For the priceand the "all you can eat" I would say it's worth it. Overall, Richmond sushi is a good place to hang with friends and getreally stuffed late night! ???????????? Read more

Based on other reviews, I went here with high hopes but unfortunately the sushi quality was subpar. Thankfully, other items on... the menu were more around the quality and taste you?d expect. For the all you can eat lunch menu, the price is actually betterthan you can get most places. There is no sashimi included in the lunch menu which is completely fair given the price. Serviceis reasonable and the atmosphere is fine for a lunch or dinner out with friends/family. Maybe it was just an off experience forme, but if the sushi quality increased to even average, this restaurant would be more than worth experiencing. Read more
