Irish pubs are Irish pubs ? but this place is great! Food is fantastic, staff are great, and the beer selection has a great many... choices. Patio is a wonderful place to spend a few hrs. Also, the free video game machine is great for pointing my kids atwhen I just want to enjoy a pint. Read more
We love this pub. They have good food, a good tap list, and a delightfully random music playlist. But the real reason we visit... is for the cozy atmosphere, and the AMAZING service. There is no other pub or restaurant in the Steveston area that has betterservice than O'Hare's. A big thank you to the staff working there. You always make us feel right at home whenever we visit. Very Comfortable & relaxing neighbourhood Irish Pub to hang out as a single woman for a snack and drink, post walk. I come here... quite often too. Ordered a craft raspberry sour, which was fabulous btw!, and had the Baja fish tacos. The the lime slaw withthe pickled onions and the chipotle-guacamole dressing was absolutely delicious. It gave the kick And added necessary acidity tothe fish. Only recommendation I?d add to enhance the food experience for this specific dish is to perhaps have meatier pieces ofhaddock. I use the liquor store more than the pub but I enjoy both. Staff in the store tend to know what they are talking about and I... love their selection of spirits. Wine selection is pretty broad too with some fine wines and a great selection of mid-rangewines. Pub has really good "proper" pub food like pies and comfort food and Sunday dinners. Selection of beers is excellentbecause they have no restrictions. I like that they go all local, we have so many great beers around here there's no need tobring them in from too far away. When the sun is out, the patio that is sheltered from the wind is great. Read more
