Food vs. Atmosphere. The atmosphere and location is great here but the food was not up to par. Servers are kind and attentive.... Quality of food is meh. Price is reasonable but for similar price scales, many other brunch places have this place beat byquite a bit. Come here for a getaway short trip or to show guests and family around but this is not a place that would become aregular for me or something I would specifically come out for. And many here mentioned the food being served lukewarm, which Iagree is a throw off. Overall, food is still what I care about most and this place?s food is just missing something critical -cooking technique wise whether it be flavour profile or simple executions. Read more

Sunday brunch at this breakfast & happy-hour place began with meeting with a couple of fairly young & in-experienced servers... standing at the patio. It was a boy and a girl. The girl was wearing heavy, sparkly makeup and she was helpful as she pointed meto the correct direction. Their menus are interesting, they have a number of seafood toppings for waffles and bennies, a fewchowder options, fried chicken on waffles, garden salad, beef, French toast, as well as a great selection of cocktails. We wereable to move to the round wooden table near the window in the front to soak in the morning sunshine. The move from the lasttable next to the kitchen to the brighter side of the cafe was a plus. They manage to set up a long table for a birthdaygathering in the middle of the cafe, and there are at least 6 tables of various sizes around. Our order included: (1) Granny?sChowder $12.99 - the sourdough bowl was roughly 15cm in diameter. Inside the bowl, the chowder was creamy and reminded me ofCampbell. Would be nice if portion is more generous. We noted a sour aftertaste in the soup that resembles sourdough. (2)Smoked Salmon Egg Benedict $18.99 - 2 Egg Bennies served on focaccia. I like the focaccia as it was lightly drizzled with oliveoil and basil and it is warm. The amount of white on the soft-boiled egg seemed to be half of what a normal egg would have. Soit?s a little smaller than what I had expected. The Hollandaise was great. The hash brown was crunchy and hot. Niceplating. (3) Garden Waffle $12.99 - The colour of the waffle was on the brown side but the taste was good. It had a crispyoutside and a soft cake-like inside. The veggies tasted fresh. I like the fact that baby bean sprout was used. Service- not badon a Sunday morning. Coffee was quickly refilled. Food was ready in a reasonable time. The lady who cleared our plates offerednew clean cutlery to us. Going back to the young servers standing outside, they were not occupied most of the time. The Read more

It's a very cute place to eat with a great outside area. Personally I found the food okay but it left me feeling like I'd... probably not come back despite the nice space. My biggest dislike was the flavour of the water which tasted like plastic andeven though we replaced it with a glass container it still seemed slightly off. This first impression personally made it hard toenjoy the meal which although presented well seemed to just come up short on taste. Read more

It was delicious brunch with good location and staff. They have guests parking as well. I give 4 to everything except one... thing. A staff's manager standing very close to our table and shouted on his staff and trained her for some points. The poorgirl who was great server of our table too, took too much pressure which you could feel it.???? Try it if you are visiting thatarea. Reply: Thanks for your follow up and consideration. I think training in front of customers is too heart breaking, specially for a person who is doing her best to make all customers happy. We saw her efforts and appreciated it. Read more
