The food was decent and staff were kind enough for how busy it was but seats aren't sanitized between uses and eating outside is... honestly impossible with the amount of wasps they have! We had to move our seats twice in attempt to get away from them. I endedup throwing the few bites I had of my burger away and retreated to the car where I was STILL followed by 3 wasps! I had to dolaps around the car to be able to get back in without them following me. Its a good thing my mother wasn't tagging along withus, she has a fatal wasp allergy. Talk about yikes! Read more
This place gets 1 star as we had to clean our own place to sit. We had absolutely rude staff. They had the pop machine turned... off and took us almost yelling (in an empty restaurant) to get some one to look at us and when they finally did we were lookedat like we are idiots because we didn't know how to turn it on. Then the food was cold and they tried to short us a burger. Andwhen we said there should be 2 burgers she looked at us like we are wrong. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Worst A&W on Trans-Canada Hwy. Disorganized dinning/waiting area and unprofessional staff. The girl helping us took the wrong... order at first so we ended up having to place a second order. Then they lost our second order all together and claimed it?salready been snatched by another customer. Had to wait for another 15 mins for them to get things sorted out. This was a fantastic A&W location, and I'm glad to have stopped by here. The renovated building looks great- super clean and... bright inside. The staff were friendly, and it was great to have the option of the brew bar drinks available, even if I didn'thave one on this visit. The dining room was a nice place to be, and the service was quick, even ordering a Beyond Burger. Read more
