Yes this is the best cod I had during my 7 day stay in west Newfoundland! We originally booked an ecological reserve tour with... Ted, who turned out to be the owner of the restaurant. Fish and chips are very fresh and yummy. What included in the tour is agrand meal with moose sausage, cod, and cheese cake. Read more

I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We had breakfast with homemade fishcakes and moose sausage that the... owner Ted and his family hunted. The food was delicious and Ted answered all questions about life in northern Newfoundland. Healso offers guided tours of the Burnt Cape Ecological Reserve. We didn't have time to take him up on that, but I'm sure it wouldbe a great experience for anyone who can make time for it. Read more

Stayed in Raleigh last night (8/19/19) and had dinner here. It was good, even though the service was a little slow. Went back... for breakfast this morning around 9:40 am and even though the sign said open not a single soul came out to serve us. Wedefinitely weren't quiet, as I dropped my bag on the floor. We didn't think anyone was in there so after 10 minutes we left. Aswe were going out the door, I looked in the kitchen door window and noticed a man leaning on the counter.
