I wish I could give it 10 ???? because I would. I was planning a destination wedding with a small group (24) of family and... friends and this was the absolute perfect location. M. Pettigrew and his staff were incredible! From the first sparkling wineto the last bite of cake they went above and beyond to make every last detail perfect. My daughter has allergies to some foodsand they made special accommodations just for her. She and I were so very grateful for that. She didn't miss out on this amazingexperience. I cannot imagine our dinner any where else. We are so grateful to everyone involved and can't wait to come back. Excellent classic high end restaurant. Expensive but great food. Everything was perfect. Favorite dishes were the seared foie... Gras, beef wellington , Caesar salad by your table side and various lobster dishes were great. We only wish we knew they alsocooked steak by your table side and would have loved to try that. Great meal overall albeit very expensive. Surprisingly thecocktails were very reasonably priced relative to the price of the food. Read more
Our meal here was excellent, but the service was incredible! Our server Alberto not only cooked our steaks to perfection, but... he entertained us with his charming personality as well as educating us on the history of French cuisine. I enjoyed our dinner immensely. Food was classical French, but with the theatre. We had a great server who was experienced and... professional. We had a great night out. This is pretty much my favourite restaurant in the world - anywhere! I mean that. Having just come back from Napa, California... where I ate at THAT restaurant, I can say without reservation that this is a better dining experience in every way. A few yearsago, we ate our way through New York's best places, and the only thing that comes close to this was Daniel. Anyway, steaks arethick, juicy, and perfectly cooked.
