WONDERFUL dinner experience!! From the "crevettes croustillantes", to the "cotes levee " , to the "gateau au fromage au chocolat... blanc et framboise"...everything was perfect!!! Our waiter was VERY attentive, polite, courteous and friendly. My picky husbandliked it so much that he decided that we would go back the next night....that's says a lot ...lol Read more
On a trip of Canada from Ireland, stayed in a hotel near this place and decided to head up for dinner. I ordered steak, prime... rib eye and it was amazing! Really nice and cooked exactly how I like it. Staff were really friendly and very helpful. Cocktailsare nice too! Highly recommend this place. Was a really nice end to a very long day sight seeing. This chain of restaurants is generally very good and never have had any issues with them at all. However in Quebec city I called... to make reservations and what I asked for somebody that could speak English and without saying yes or no she hung up on me. Icalled back a number of times and every time got the same reaction. I then called again and said I wanted to speak to themanager and she once again hung up on me. I called back one more time and this time I told her don't you dare hang up and Iasked why was she being so rude. She told me that she had clients that she was waiting on at the time that I called. I askedher why didn't you ask me....could I put you on hold please? I asked her once again to speak with her manager and she refusedsaying that the manager was busy. I told her that we drive tourists into Quebec city almost weekly and always point out theBaton Rouge to them saying what a great place to eat. I then informed her because of her rude treatment to me on the phone Iwould never recommend this Quebec location again. She actually laughed at me. Let’s start of this review with how me and my family were here for tourism and were extremely hungry from the day because all... the places were booked to the brim. While we were trying to book a reservation they hung up not 1, not 2, but 3 times. Weliterally had to go in make a reservation with even more difficulties and go back to our hotel to wait, then go back toeat. Now this is where it gets worse, when we were seated we took our orders while the waitress was nice. The food was allwrong over salted, over cooked, and mixed up. AS WELL took ages to arrive. This restaurant states to convince that its a goodplace but based on what so many tourists have stated I’m starting to think it’s because we do not speak French and we aretourists.
