I was in Quebec city for a few days and this came as one of the highly recommended places to check out based on the research my... cousin did. This place is famous for their smoked meat & fish and chips. However, it was the poutine that turned out to thebest and which I would highly recommend to order. Staff does speak English and Service was good. However there was no menu inEnglish so I had to briefly translate it for my cousin and friends. They told me they did see a menu in English online but weweren't able to find it. Maybe it is a good idea to have one English menu on hand for the summer tourists? Smoke Meat wasn't asbig even though it was supposed to be their bigger size.. Maybe I Just got used to the bigger portions from the Montreal SmokedMeat establishments and it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. Their hot dog was just ok too.. Even though in general I can't tell the difference between two different coffees, I'm very picky on poutine. Since the... beginning of the pandemic I've been ordering poutine through delivery services frequently from several different restaurants. Sofar, this is the best poutine I've ordered. Additionally, the sauce was in a cup separate from the rest of the poutine so thefries weren't soggy. I also ordered their homemade pogo because it looked different from what I'm used to, and it may be myfavorite pogo. Read more
