I found that it was weird to have gravy on on almond chicken and i found the noodles blah .
Lets see where do I start. i have been going there for over 20 years and I still go once in a while. The food has not changed... one bit and I get a kick out of the owner. These places are so hard to find these days with all of the chain stores,and fluffyfake service. If your visiting Port Mcneill its a must do as part of your holiday. My partner wanted to see if all the bad reviews were true. They were. Spring rolls were three stars. Ginger beef and mixed veg,... two. The neon sauce was a bit of a surprise. I could have bought mr noodle from the grocery store and made my own shrimp noodles, and it would have tasted better. Decided to... eat here and was very disappointed. Absolutely horible food! No veggies, no sauce, and just a bunch of steamed noodles withsmall shrimp.I guess its the only place in town for Chinese food????. I will never eat here again. We should have read the reviews. I hate leaving bad reviews and only do it when I feel I was ripped off. This was by far the... worst Chinese food we?ve ever had. The chicken fried rice was white rice (the photo is after I poured three pouches of soy saucein it)with shredded chicken on top, one dried up pea and a piece of a corn kernel. We had the mixed vegetables, I don?t evenknow what to say, they were not seasoned at all and were floating in a viscous grey liquid. Can?t believe we paid $30 ate a fewbites and threw it out.
