Was very excellent when 1st opened. But seems to have lost its touch lately and post pandemic the hours are terrible.
The restaurant was recommended, Hmm? Not so good. Had the special, some chicken dish with prawns and what was suppose to be a... lobster sauce, $28. Whatever chicken they are using has to have been processed(or cooked) and then frozen. Then just warmed up,mine was cold. The roasted potatoes were warm but dry. The veggies were cold as well. I always hate to complain but I had to.Waitress was very forward towards me which made me feel awkward, like it was my fault I didn't complain earlier. Finally sheoffered me a new chicken breast, I so badly wanted to say no but my husband said sure bring her a new one. I ate around theoutside. Won't be eating there again. Wasn't compensated, no tip. Stopped for lunch on our way through to Tofino. We had our thirteen year old with us, the manager offered the private dining... room, banquet area, if we would like it as the restaurant didn?t allow minors. We accepted and are sure glad we did.
