Every year, twice a year, our band - J#Major - performs at The Westview. It's our "look forward to" gigs of the year! The food... is wonderful and they even offer items marked with a little boat icon if you're worried about your boarding time. The staff aresuper-friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very slow, it took over a hour to get the food. I am celiac and asked for a gluten-free bun. After taking a... couples bites I realized that it wasn?t gluten-free. I asked the server to confirm with the kitchen and it ended up not beinggluten-free. Our server should have known before bringing out the food. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant. This place was a life saver. Everything closes so darn early on the island and we were turned away from the only other place... that was open because they were holding tables for reservations. We had two young kids and nowhere to go. The food was very goodand the server was very kind and efficient. The perch basket did end up costing a small fortune lol but it was fresh and tasty.Everything on the island closes so early and we had a terrible time and won't be back but at least the tavern was good!
