The worst food ever, chicken tikka was microwaved, i was informed it is microwaved after going into the tandoor, the chicken was... raw in the middle. For the cauliflower fritters, the batter was too old and the cauliflower was uncooked. The place smelledawful and so was the ambience. Would not recommend and ever go back again. Read more
Very misleading. Went to have lunch seeing there display board saying lunch special at 8.99$, we asked the server asking about... the lunch special for 8.99$. She gave us the menu and said everything in the given menu is lunch specials. We ordered 2 dishesand the bill came up to 43.96$. When asked the server mentioned that it?s start from 8.99$ (where no dish is for 8.99$). Andalso it?s not worth 43.96$ For what we got. Wouldn?t recommend. They should either change there sign board or mention properlyto the customers so that the customers don?t get sour surprise at the end. Read more
This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Ottawa. The menu has 5 levels of spiciness for most/all dishes. I like things... spicy so my gf and I had lamb vindaloo, a chicken dish, and a shrimp dish. All just excellent. Very warm and fluffy naan. Andeven the rice was as it should be, with the individual rice bits not stuck together. Service = excellent. Read more
A family run business that not only offers kind and friendly service but delicious food. We had the butter chicken, the palok... panner(SO good), the vegetable korma (YUM) some Naan and rice. The flavours are perfect and the portions are generous. Thank youfor a wonderful meal, we will be back. Read more

The BEST Indian food I've ever had in the city! We had a veggie appetizer platter for two, madras (chicken) and dansak (beef)... with rice and naan bread. I cannot describe how flavourful everything was. The beef was tender, both dishes were the level ofspiciness requested and the veggie appetizers were perfectly fried without being greasy. We still can't get over how good therice was. I will never be able to recreate this at home but theirs a very talented hard working chef who seasons everything toperfection. Lastly the service was great. Our server was attentive, helpful and very patient with us. We will definitely begoing back! Lastly the price was fair and for the portion sized I have enough for a delicious lunch tomorrow. Worth every penny. Read more
