Very tasty food ( portions are a bit on the small side), a bit limited for vegetarians, but it is known for its steak and... frites . The frites and their mayo are possibly the best around. The mushroom ravioli is absolutely fantastic! The mozzarellasticks are so good, especially with their marinate sauce. And a good selection of local beers and some wines ( ABC Amber is apersonal fave) . Read more
We came here for Flippers initially and found out Flippers is closed for renovations. We don't know when it might reopen but the... kitchen is the same. So we stayed for dinner. I had the Thai Curry Shrimp dish but that was not Thai curry. It was more likeThai sweet chilli. It's mildly spicy. Food quality was not bad otherwise. We visited this restaurant on Sunday afternoon. Great atmosphere and great service, can't complaint about these factors. I... ordered the special on the menu, which was lamb with vegetables, the dish was good looking but the lamb was like thosepre-cooked boxes that you can buy from metro mixed with gravy and roasted vegetables. I was expecting something special as itwas featured in the menu. Also, ordered the ceviche pasta, the dish had seafood that was not fresh at all and seemed to be plainpasta with a random sweet sauce that tasted too sweet. The dessert and appetizer were great.
