Food is always delicious here. We went about 45 minutes before closed and still received great service. We got the Peking duck... as a main dish, second dish was full of duck and flavourful. Only negative of all the dishes were the har gow as the wrapperslid right off when picking it up. Read more
Excellent choiches of meals. One of the few authentic Chinese restaurants in town. The general Tao was amazing!

As famous as this restaurant is, their dim sum plates are only above average. The flavours are authentic, sure, and the service... is decent (at a Chinese restaurant too, what a surprise). However, nothing was exceptional, creative, or even extremely highquality and fresh. I recommend this if you're staying in Ottawa for a while, and you want a gentle introduction to Chinese food. Yangtze has a great selection of food in their menu and very authentic dishes and flavors. Everything comes out quickly and... fresh. The servers have the ability to speak many languages which is very nice. They have a small dim sum menu available all day- it wasn't bad but this definitely wouldn't be my first selection for dim sum.
