I was in town for meetings and had some time to grab a quick lunch before the next one. Aahar showed up as I searched for... restaurants in the area. I figured I'd give it a go as I have tried Indian food a couple of times before. I explained to theserver that I was pressed for time and couldn't enjoy a traditional Indian meal. He suggested Afghan Chaap. I didn't know whatit was, but from what he told me, I gathered that it had grilled soya pieces. I went for it despite my reservations. And I waspleasantly surprised. It had a wonderful, creamy texture. And was accompanied by a tangy, mildly spicy chutney that added agreat flavor. Notably, the serving size was perfect for a light meal. We unknowingly went during Diwali and it was crazy busy! They had two massive groups to deal with along with a few other small... groups. However, they were able to seat us within about 10 minutes and, though it took a bit longer (understandably), theydidn't forget about us and kept refilling our water and such while we waited for the food. When it did come (which was still ingood time)- it was SO good! The naan was so good- we all got different dishes and they were all incredible. The servers werevery kind despite the stress of a packed restaurant. Outstanding service and food- HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We will definitely comeback ???? Read more
