I had the opportunity to visit again. A much pleasanter and more intimate use of the unique space. The bright yellow arm... chairs, new colour palette and decor are fresh and inviting . Once again the staff was kind and attentive. It's so nice to havethis destination to walk to. Kind staff. Menu no different from other Second Cups. It's such a great location with highceilings and a view down Bank St. It could be really nice but everything-outside of the food preparation areas, needs a goodwash down. Read more
I have been Coming to this second cup location from 2017-present, and when I say I have been coming, I don't mean here and... there, to say I am a regular is an understatement, I say that to say this, my experience with this location has been nothingshort of a warm and inviting environment, the baristas have always given me great customer service, and when you come a fewtimes, many times they remember your drinks. Considerate, polite, good listeners and honest are just a few things that describemy experience with them, it is one of the places that has a an environment that easy to study in, you can see the care they putinto the place as it reflects in the comfort, I have no stocks or financial, business ties, advertising, or any share of inanyway, I just wanted to show my appreciation by sharing my experience, I apologize for the length of my review but I justwanted to give it justice. Was in around 3:45 today. Bought a Frozen Hot Chocolate and specified no whipped cream. A croissant with ham and cheese and a... lemonade. I have come in often since I relocated to Ottawa but wont be coming in anymore. I specified no whipped at theregister, the order taker, a male took my order and walked right back behind the bar to stand around and do nothing (I wouldhave liked my receipt but talking to co-workers was more important). The lady making my drink put whipped, when I said I askedfor no whipped she looked at the order taker for validation instead of just apologizing and remaking it. She then took a spoon,did a poor job of scooping it out, gave it back no apology and walked away. Was just very rude. I understand that bad days aregoing to be had but I have always tipped well, and have been very nice when I came in. Ill just take my money elsewhere and Iwill encourage others in the office I work in across the road to do so as well. Read more
