I tried Green Papaya for the first time with my picky mother and picky vegetarian girlfriend. We all were very pleased with our... meals. The food was great, the portions sizable and prices are competitive. We now have a new date restaurant. The only twonegatives I have to mention is that the nice lady who took our order wasn't very proactive, we had stacked our menus neatly onone corner of the table(the universal sign for "we are ready to order") and it still took her more than 15 minutes to come bydespite being 1 of the 3 tables in the restaurant at the time. Secondly, we were all seated in the same corner. I would advisethe restaurant(and all restaurants) to get some distance between tables when possible not necessarily because of COVID but alsofor a more intimate/private dining experience. Read more
Everything is from the 13-20 range which is fairly priced for some things and others not so much. A bowl of rice is 3 which I... personally think is outrageous. Prepare for everything to be sweet and to have bell peppers inside it. The curries, noodles andmeat dishes, a majority of them are the same mix of vegetables and have the same sweetness. The level 5 spicy of the beef wasless spicy than level 1, it was incredibly disappointing, I wouldn’t have ordered it if I know it was this spicy. Overall, thedishes were average but all taste too similar with similar styles. We came when it opened at 5 and so we were the firstcustomers, it took 15 minutes for the appetizers to come out and 45 minutes for the mains to come out, keep in mind we were theonly ones. The waitress was super kind and kept checking up on us though. The only thing I really enjoyed was the customerservice and the beef dish which sadly wasn’t spicy when it was suppose to be. Read more
This restaurant is along Baseline Rd. which is a busy road. It’s right across from Walmart. We walked in, it was nicely... decorated but was rather dark inside. We sat in the corner facing the street. It was fantastic, it had pillow on the booths. Itwas very comfortable. We ordered the Pad Thai with chicken.
