Coming from a family of pie makers, I feel I've had my share of pies to know that this pie from Life of Pie underwhelmed. The... pastry was very pale and bland, and it wasn't flakey. The filling was okay but didn't impress. It was a key lime pie, and Idon't recall ever having one that uses coconut which this one seemed to have in the filling making it gritty rather than creamy.The topping was alot of whipped cream, and except some decorative flecks of lime zest it was just cream and, hence, also bland.Service was okay.
