Quinn's used to be my favourite pub in the centre of Ottawa. It was reliable, served varied and tasty food for decent prices and... with excellent beers on tap. Add this to the list of places left a ghost of their former self by covid. Every item has beenpriced into absurdity on their menu, well beyond the 20% increase you should expect from this last year. The food has decreasedin quantity and quality from prior servings. The menu is cut to almost no options, 80% deep fried. Their previously reliablefish and chips were way overcooked and much more batter than fish. Both beers arrived flat. Service was rushed: although cordialand efficient, clearly stretched thin. A real shame to see a pub operating as a ghost of what it was 15 years ago. Read more
Crazy how quiet this part of Ottawa is - barely anywhere open at 10pm on a Friday night and this place was empty despite a... lovely warm evening, patio and two playoff games on inside. Read more
Great classic pub experience. Had some great ABC beers, enjoyed the ambiance and the service. Blueberry wheat ale was a hit!
Great spot, great cozy atmosphere They serve Labbats 50 which is awesome, draft too! We had their chicken Caesar salad and it... was very good. They deserve their great reputation! Read more
