This small restaurant is a combination coffee shop, BBQ joint, and bar. The food is good, if priced a bit high. The staff is... super friendly and welcoming too. Unfortunately we informed them about peanut allergies at our table before ordering, but therewere actual peanuts in some of our food. No one died so that was good. Read more
Great place for food and drinks. Not too busy, but it has a nice location. Staff are kind and attentive. Good portions with food... sizes. Lighting and décor are modern and uplifting. Veggy options. A late review from the summer, but here it is! Grounded Kitchen is a great spot to come with coworkers in the downtown core, but... also great for dinner with friends! The drinks were delicious, especially the espresso martini. We enjoyed the BBQ plate and thespecial of the day, which was a catfish. The BBQ plate standouts were the ribs and beans! Read more
Although this place stepped up as a welcome refuge for us when everything else was closed and it was raining, still it wasn’t... amazing. Mostly because it was freezing inside. I understand that it’s good to have some ventilation and that it’s betterfor covid, but it was simply too cold. Also the music was not great, and I don’t really get why they have a TV on, kind ofruins the atmosphere. Additionally, the coffee was pretty bad. The service was nice though and the food was good. Not a lot ofselections for breakfast though, mostly it’s either a smoothie or a breakfast sandwich with an egg, cheese and bacon. Read more
