Great spot for families. I always get a little stressed bringing a high energy toddler to a restaurant. The staff is super... accommodating and the restaurant is filled with families. They have a great kid's food program called, "mini Mario's" whichincludes 5 free kid's meals. After that, kid's meals are 2.99 with the purchase of an adult meal. We actually really enjoy east sides as a decent value sit down restaurant. Warm endless bread is always a plus. I enjoy the... great canadian pizza with mushrooms. ( It's not the best pizza but it does the trick ). We tried the new grill chicken sandwichand were actually surprised. It was amazing. The reason I'm giving a 4 star is because the restaurant was so understaffed. Theservers were working hard to accommodate. Read more

Upon our arrival the hostess didn't acknowledge us and had his back turned to us while he was on the phone. He put the phone on... hold, left the front desk and upon returning he still didn't acknowledge us until he was done his conversation. The food was okbut service was terrible. The server was inattentive and wasn't very personable. He didn't introduce himself or engage in anykind of conversation. On previous visits we've had our bread and salad regularly topped up, we had to ask for more bread andsalad. We only got our bread at the end of our meal, which we didn't even get to eat with our meal. When we got the salad itcame with no tongs to serve it, both times. My wife had two hairs in her chicken Tetrazzini, it was replaced however, we wouldhave liked a discount as I ate my entire meal before she got hers. My son, who is under 2, did not get the desert that came withhis meal and we were never offered it. The waiter came to the table once to ask how things were and any other time we needed himwe had to go get him. We've had amazing experiences in the past however, this visit was very disappointing. Additionally, emptyplates were left on our table the entire time. At one point we had to ask him to clear some of the dishes as we were running outof room. When asked, the server seemed bothered by the income inconvenience. Please see pictures below as an example.
