First bite and I'm a Fan for life!!! 1/2 lbs pulled pork with House Rub Fries and potato Salad with cornbread. I am not usually... a fan of cornbread but it was delicious. Many options, delicious with good portions, will definitely try again. Montreal smoked sandwich was so tasty although a bit... salty, brisket sandwich was superb and is totaly suggested, pork ribs were also tasty. Read more
I've been here occasionally for a few years now, and this visit will be my last. The BBQ is still great. The brisket was tender,... flavorful, and had a great bark. The pulled pork itself was perfect, although the sauce didn't taste as good as I remembered.The fries are amazing. Light, crisp, and piping hot. The cornbread has always been mediocre and the pitt beans were good, butnot as good as before. Over the years, the price has gone up and portion sizes have gone down. It's just not worth it anymore. What a find!!! Stumbled across this local gem on our way back to nearby hotel. Cassandra provided great service & explanations... of menu items (our first visit). Huge menu including Family style options. I started with Berry Smash cocktail, couldn't detectany rum or mint but definitely got a little buzz. We sat outside in the perfect weather & the smoker smell inside & out wasdivine! Hubby ordered brisket sandwich and I had pulled pork. The fries (seasoned) came out a little late but were fantastic andvery very hot! Our sandwiches were outstanding... perfect smoke & bark & great flavor.
