A wonderful German restaurant right by Lonsdale Quay with the friendliest staff and really great German food. The schnitzel was... cooked to perfection; nice and thin with a beautiful crunch. I chose the schnitzel stuffed with mushroom and raclette cheese andit was delicious. I definitely recommend coming here (make reservation, they're busy!) and I'll definitely will go back to trysome other German favourites! Read more

Absolutely loved the shnitzel and the desserts! We ordered the platter, spatzle (pasta), apple strudel and black forest cake... (our fave!). Good portions and reasonable prices. Very talented musicians too. Glad we had cash to give them a tip. We willdefinitely come back! Read more
A wonderful German restaurant. My Jager schnitzel was crunchy but moist. Upgraded to the spetzle, which was the right choice for... me, although I have no doubt the potatoes would be good as well. The whole restaurant has a lively energy, especially with thelove jazz Friday nights. The guy who I assume is the owner seems to really like interacting with people. In addition to a numberof schnitzel options and other German fair, they have some interesting imported German beers. If you're coming on a Fridayevening, expect it to be crowded.
