Menu for Pamola Bakery & Deli in New Westminster, BC

I'm writing this review because I'm so offended by 2 of the one star reviews, especially KH 's offensive screed. I am... suspicious of its real intent. KH says literally awful things which I won't repeat so as not to give him more air time. Heapparently doesn't even know what black beans are or that they're a staple of the Mexican diet. We've just come through a timewhich has destroyed many small businesses. Fortunately Pamola's still standing and delivering delicious Mexican food. And theydo it with heart. My wife and I had the tortilla soup and enchiladas but decided to split them both because we only wanted asnack. Pamola gave us an extra plate and bowl so we could share. They are very kind. They are a unique little restaurant,serving superb food. Give them a try. Btw there is lots of cheese in the tortilla soup, Erika. SMH. And kudos to Pamola forsuch a civil reply to KH. Today 08 Oct went 2.30pm, first time visited and bought two Burritos for $9.99 and three tacos chicken rice beans for $12.99. ... Spend close to $60. Very disappointed due to poor quality, taste, smell, a roti wrapped/ filled with rice and Toonie sizemeat!!! TRUE. Taco is covered with just tomato salsa, sour cream mashed black dark beans!!! What is it? Very colorfully,ornamentally decorated toppings. Deceived our eyes. Quay area, New Westminster is expensive... understand; Our expectation ofat least ONE dollar value quality food for the price of $10 and $13 is not too much. Honestly we all felt throwing up. Nowonder no crowd on a Saturday long weekend! Lucky, we went with our dog and we gave away almost all. Stay away this place! Wenever ever criticize this hard to any eating we had been. We are compelled to write this to caution others not to waste theirmoney; most importantly your visit with family to this scenic area to enjoy will be diminished and frustrated. Read more

Absolutely the worst Mexican food I have ever had. My Poblano and Cheese Tomal had NOTHING inside of it, was dry and bland. The... Sope had no taste at all, the refried beens were dry and bland as well. My Tortilla soup had NO cheese in it. Worst experienceever. Read more

Tres Leches cake is the best. Also tried the croissant and the Mexican bun, these were good too. Lots of fresh bread and Mexican... food. Would go back for tres leches definitely. Read more
