I don't know how I've never eaten here when they've been in operation for 11 years! Lovely suggestion from my wife for dinner,... we stopped at this neighbourhood restaurant for some honest to goodness Mexican flare. Ample space, street parking, friendlystaff and good selection of food and drinks (including alcohol) - we ordered their Monster Burrito and Carne Asana. I used tothink we needed to cross the border whenever I craved for carne asana but that's no longer the case. Now we only have to drive20 mins to get my fix! Read more
This is our favourite Mexican restaurant in greater Vancouver, food and service are always good. They deserve all the 5 star... ratings. I've lived in Los Angeles for a few years and the Mexican food scene there is second, right after Mexico itself. This would... probably be in the 14th or 15th place taste wise. Drinks were legit awesome but food was ultra bland. Maybe they were having anoff day at the kitchen, but it's not the first time this has happened to me where I've seen long queues of people waitingoutside the restaurant and thought to myself that they must be doing something right in there, that's why people are lining upon the streets to the eat the food. They work hard to keep the flavors authentic. Cheap tacos ($3 each!), plenty of interior seating, and pretty good... cocktails. You get what you pay for: nothing fancy here/over the top presentation but flavors are solid. I would try the plateor monster burritos next. Service was adequate.
