We were really craving some Asian food and found this place. The dumplings unfortunately were just ok. We ordered three... different flavours (curry beef, pork and chive, shrimp and chive) to try and the filling that had pork was tough and dry. Thewrapper of the dumplings were thick and dry along the edges too unfortunately. The sides were pretty good though. We reallyenjoyed the beef shank, cucumber, and shredded potato sides. Read more
The service was fast. Food was tasty. Somewhat expensive for something to eat but absolutely makes sense, this takes a lot of... work. 3 stars because I received shrimp dumplings instead of what I ordered. Don't like seafood, so once I realized I wasn'tvery interested anymore. Read more
This restaurant deserves 0 stars. We were at this restaurant on Monday, June 13th at around 7:40pm. WE were the only ones... inside at the time. The individual making dumplings was constantly touching his phone,, while working with the dough and addingwhat appeared to be ground sausage in the dumplings. My girlfriend approached him and told him he should not be touching hisphone while handling food, and then serving that food to costumers which were likely take out orders. He said `Sorry sorry`. Ifhe was really sorry, he would have thrown it out since he kept touching his phone and touching the dough. The older gentleman,,probably the chef, who was right behind him, would have also noticed him touching his phone constantly and did not say anything.We cancelled our order and left. We should have taken a video with our phones. That restaurant should have a food inspection, ifthat is the way they handle food. We will never go again and eat contaminated food. Very good dumpling not as tastyer dumpling i ever try but here in ottawa for this taste consider good,order wanton soup i forget... to ask what is the filling,for someones that doesn't eat pork you should ask before order, love the original bubble milk teataste better than ch*****,chilli oil not spicy enough for me. I ordered the dumpling combo for about $25 from SkipTheDishes. Came with 9 dumplings of your choice A vegetarian spring roll A... soup of choice A random side of the day (I got smashed cucumbers) I liked everything but the side dish as I'm really not a fanof Cucumbers ???????? but that's a personal thing. The spring roll was very crispy, light and fresh tasting. The corn andchicken soup was very mild and subtle tasting.. sort of like a comfort dish if you have a cold. The dumplings were very tasty.
