Very busy location. Wait time was estimated to be 1 hour on Sunday dinner time, you go in and they’ll text you when ready -... website and Google maps say there’s no wait time but that wasn’t the case just fyi :) their estimation of 1 hour wait timewas accurate. This place is popping with Chinese students. The mildest spicy version of the house special beef broth is VERYspicy. You’ll feel it the next day too unless you’re a spice person ;) Authentic northern Chinese malatang. Chongqingstyle. I recommend getting the house special pork broth that’s not spicy on top of the spicy broth if you can handle it.It’s good to use the non-spicy broth for tofu puffs and other food where the spicy broth may be too overpowering. Theirhandmade meatballs are good, so is the luncheon meat, snakehead, celtuce and tendon, and soy milk, shrimp stuffed in Chinesedoughnut. You can order half versions of certain foods. Very good service! Self serve fruits. Sauce costs a fewbucks. Pricey but great broth. Read more

Pros: Clean, modern, variety and freshness of ingredients, good quick customer service Cons: their “mild” broth isn’t... actually mild at all or “a little spicy” like green Thai curry. It’s VERY spicy with chilies floating everywhere. Evenmore spicy than authentic Indian curries/biryani. I had to place another order for a non-spicy broth but unfortunately thoseflavours are much less interesting/not my cup of tea. This ended up making the experience unpleasant because I couldn’t eatwithout burning my mouth. My mouth is still red after several hours. I would say if you are not from China/enjoy extremelyspicy foods it would be better to go Montreal’s Chinatown world-famous all you can eat hotpot restaurant because of betterbroths and better pricing. We eat here at least once every month. It's the best hotpot place in Ottawa right now. It's not an all you can eat, but for my... stomach size it's about the same price. The food is very fresh, and the stuff are really nice. Recommanded. Read more

Great food and amazing service. Would recommend for vegetarians and likely vegans as well. A bit on the pricier side, but the... quality matches the value. Read more
