Menu for Killer whale cafe in Mount Waddington D, BC

Wish I could leave a higher review here but came here for dinner? and after our food came, no one came to ask how our food was.... No one came to refill the waters. No one came to take our empty plates away or ask if we wanted desert. The waiter seemedindifferent and unenthused, in general, and may not be his calling. So, I visited the KW cafe yesterday with great expectations of the seafood chowder. The chowder was presented nicely by a lovely... young lady with a slight french accent. The creamy broth was nicely seasoned however, I counted exactly 3 pieces of salmonabout the size of a thumbnail in this so called seafood chowder. Other than that, it was mostly carrot and a few scant piecesof potato. I may not have minded so much, except they are charging $20 for a bowl of mostly broth. I felt really ripped off! When I asked my server if I could kindly have the wifi password, she said the cost was $10 This is my first experience ofsomeone wanting to charge for wifi use. You will not regret a trip to picturesque Telegraph Cove aprox 1.5 hrs north from Campbell River. The Killer Whale Cafe has an... amazing menu, amazing presentation, and probably the best seafood chowder according to my dining partner, and what little tasteI had too. We loved it so much, we went back twice. The tiramisu is a must and the B52 with or without coffee is preparedperfectly. Very fresh and well cooked dishes. Having it on their deck with view of nature and town is stunning experience.

Burgers were nice, but for a reason when you ask for Lettuce wrapped burger, the did not include all the fixings that the other... 2 burgers we ordered had... No sauce, tomatoes or pickles, and not even one whole lettuce, the burger was sitting on 2 tinysquares of lettuce that you can barely see on the photo... Pretty ridiculous... Read more
