Wow 10/10 recommend! Service was great, music was a vibe (we loved it), food was amazing and drinks so good. Overall incredible... experience! If you don?t have a huge appetite maybe consider sharing because portions were HUGE and so delicious. We gotsmoothies and tried a boozy coffee and it was awesome too! Our server was Jessica and she was so friendly and made greatrecommendations. We ate her favorite the sweet and salty Benedict and wow was it good!!!! Amazing brunch in Montreal! Heard many good comments about this place and it didn?t disappoint. Had to wait in line for about... 45mins-1hours ish, but understandable for Sunday brunch. Server was extremely friendly, recommended things on the menu. Theirsmoke meat Benedict it very nice, if you eat just smoke meat alone it?s salty, but everything combined tasted delicious. PecanFrench toast is good if you have sweet tooth. Servings were too big and we couldn?t finish them all. Only difficult part for uscoming from Ottawa was to find a parking. We were celebrating my dad's birthday and brought him to l'Avenue. We got there at 9 am but there was a huge line up. We waited... in line for almost an hour before getting a chance to go in. Once we were seated we were immediately given the menus and ourwaited asked us what we wanted to drink. We mentioned to him that it was my dad's birthday and he was so nice. We all gotdifferent types of plate, from omelettes to pancakes, and your normal american style breakfast. When our waiter came with ourplates he has put a candle in my dad's waffles making it extra special. This is the type of service that really warms my heart,something taking a couple of extra minutes to make someones experience special. The ambiance was nice, it was a hip place withsome great music selection. My brother was into the music and at one point he was trying to figure out the singer suddenly thewaiter came by with a piece of paper. It was the bands name and title of the song. This place is worth checking out. Make sure you have patience because there?s always a line apparently. We visited on a Friday... at 11 am and there was about a 25 minute wait outside. For brunch I went with the indecisive. Sunny side up eggs, baguette (notshown here sorry), smoke pulled pork, and French toast stuffed with pistachio. This choice did not disappoint, it was verydelicious and filling. Also try the watermelon strawberry mimosa. I didn?t eat anything else until dinner time. Customer servicewas also on point.
