Delicious Afghani food!! Absolutely loved the Aushak and the Bolani. All the other dishes were just as amazing! The milk pudding... was a perfect way to finish the meal. The service was great and the staff were super friendly. A wonderful experience! Read more

Excellent service and food. Enjoyed multiple appetisers (Ashak, Manto) , dessert (firni) and obviously the main course. This... includes Kabouli palow, Kabouli Kebab and Kebab e Morgh - each very delicious and filling for one individual. Read more

Beautiful afghan restaurant in the Plateau of Montreal. Bring your own wine or beer. Portions are large and very delicious. Kept... us very full. Service however is a little slow but we came Saturday evening. Service is friendly and the server answered all ourquestions. Restaurant is clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Read more

I love everything this place: the food, staff, and atmosphere. The food is exceptional. Very tasty and filling. Not my our... first time there but last time we went, we got the chicken (Murgh Mirch), meatballs (Kofta), and soup-ish (Ash Reshteh). Allwere amazing. Also had their Chapli kabob a while ago and that was also excellent, albeit spicy! The staff, the resto is familyowned and the employees are super nice and caring! The chef, especially is so nice, at times she even comes and takes ordersherself! Atmosphere is cute, too. Traditional afghan style, I guess, and cosy. Overall, a bit on the pricy side but well worthit. I?d go back again. Read more

My family came to Montreal for the F1 race, and had a hard time finding a restaurant for dinner that didn?t have a massive line... up. We ended up at Kaboul, and I am so happy we did. It was the highlight of our trip! Our waitress was so lovely, as we wereunfamiliar with Afghan cuisine. She recommended the perfect dishes based on everyone?s taste, and was friendly and extremelyprofessional. It was clear she was proud to be serving there. The atmosphere is really lovely, culturally rich andupscale. But OMG THE FOOD!!! We couldn?t stop trying each other?s dishes, everything was unbelievably flavorful, and theportions were incredibly generous. I had the spiced chicken thigh kabob, it was mouth wateringly tender, and the spices usedwere unique to my palette but immediately a new favorite. I was full, but had to try dessert. The rose water vanilla ice creamwas one of the loveliest finishes to a meal I can recall. The chef even came to thank us for coming. I don?t have a negativething to say. If you are in Montreal, don?t get caught up in long lines for smoked meat and Poutine etc that you can getanywhere in the city. Go to Kaboul. Whether a romantic date, or a birthday, it will be the highlight of your night (at the veryleast). Read more
