I really like the attitude of the owner, Benoit, and the people he employs, but they could take service more seriously. The... dining experience was awkward throughout. Our server was very nice but took quite some time to take our order. There were peoplethat entered midway through our meal and started hanging about the restaurant. It was unclear whether they were patrons, staffor friends of the employer. It was a bit surprising when one of them began clearing our table after we ate. Just a very informaldining experience overall. There was no menu, only a prix fix dinner. I really did like the tropical soup however. My maincourse wasn't that impressive. The sauce was the best part but the cut of beef was tough, a mid-tier cut of meat like thatdidn't feel fit for what I paid. Read more

I wanted to like this place so bad but the food was terrible (very basic, little effort) and the service was nothing to write... home about. It?s honestly a waste of money to eat here. Just changed management, give the new owner a chance. He just opened a Sunday night for us and did all the cooking and serving;... since it's hard to find employees these days. Apparently it is open on Tuesdays and I was told this via Facebook Messenger. Went to the restaurant: not a soul present and no... way to contact them. Phone call, Messenger, skip the dishes... 0 response. Worst of all, no acknowledgement from them abouttheir miscommunication and giving contradictory information. Read more

Owner is not responsive, you cannot even call them as the call doesn't go through. I asked them for opening hours on messenger... and planned my trip to Montreal accordingly so that I can make it there to satisfy my craving of Mauritian food. However, theywere not open on the day that they told me they would be. There was no sign on the door nor on social media to reflect that.There was absolutely no way to contact them. I also placed an order on SkipTheDishes, but that order didn't go through and I amstill waiting to get refunded for that. Owner was not in the least bit apologetic when I let them know this.
