Saw an ad about a special disk in the journal so me and my mom went. Waited over 30 mins despite the "express" in the title.... When the disk arrived, we tasted and it was rotten chicken. We returned the plate, the waitress bring it in the kitchen thencame back asking us if we can eat something else ( nice waitress btw). I decided to try this restaurant today because I was in the area and needed lunch. The positive reviews influenced me to chose... this restaurant. Will not be returning. I ordered the "all dressed" beef pho. I found the broth lacked depth of flavor. Itwas heavy on the cinnamon and lacked star anise flavoring, but this is my personal preference. The condiments: generousamount of bean sprouts. Included red bird eye pepper and lime. But my plate did not have any Thai basil! I looked around andthe next table with 2 middle-aged Asian couples had a huge plate full! I was also served a glass of water but they had tea! Hmm. When I went to the counter to pay, I was asked how I liked the food, I commented on the lack of Thai basil and theresponse was "oh, you would have to liked some". Read more
