Music was too loud!!! Food and service were great but no one was able to carry on a conversation with people at their own table.... Speakers blaring overhead as we were all plugging our ears and shaking our heads in disbelief. It quite literally made me ill asI got a massive headache which in turn went straight to my stomach and made me extremely nauseous…ruined the whole evening.Everyone at our table decided to leave after a while because it was just that unbearable. There were other areas in therestaurant where it wasn’t as loud but if you are seated anywhere near the ‘dance floor’ or next to the where the bandplays, you will be unable to carry a conversation without screaming at each other. Can’t believe that no one has raised thisissue with them as it literally drove us out the door way earlier than we would have liked. This morning we all woke up withringing in our ears and my husband can’t hear out of one ear. Is this normal? I’ve been to several concerts in my life, mostly rock and heavy metal, and last night was worse since the sound has no one to escape to except straight into yourbrain! Some of us with the Apple Watch were getting warnings about the decibels at 108 being damaging!! No kidding!! It’sreally too bad but we will never be returning there again so long as they continue to blast that music the way they do. And bythe way, it was at its loudest when the live band was playing. When they played other music from playlists, it was still loudbut not as much. Advice to the restaurant owners; better to lower the volume and keep your customers than to quite literallyblow us out the door. Also, the overall layout should be reconfigured. It’s poorly designed. The band and music should be atthe very back wall and a space left for dancing over there. It is very hard to get to and from the table, the washroom, outdoors, etc., once people start dancing as the dance floor is right where you come in and out of, in a tight space. This is THE Greek place, and the closest you'll come to Greece in MTL. The food was magnificent and the ambience authentic. We... had a group dinner, they bring out several courses which is $65/$75 per person for a feast. I recommend the lamb. The musicalambiance was INCREDIBLE. The wine is pricey but after a few you'll forget all about that while waiving your napkins in the airwith everyone simultaneously dancing on tables. Read more

Went here for a birthday. I will start with the strong points. The service was good, the servers were friendly and the food was... brought out rapidly. We had a fixed menu. Most of the entrées were quite good. The main dishes, however, were not great. Thelamb chops were very chewy and rather anemic (almost no meat on the bone). The desert balls were undercooked. The night endedwith the server essentially putting 18% tip on our bill (not that we didn't get good service) but it definitely left us with anegative feeling as we walked out. The dinner was not terrible however at this price range there are much better options in thearea. I won't be returning here. Read more

Restaurant was a bit cold, had to keep my coat. The service was excellent, the servants were very helpfull and the water was... always filled which is excellent, because in other places I often find myself having to ask for more water. The food was verygood. Only comment I would have to say is that even though the food was good, it was very expensive for the quality and quantitybeing offered. We got 4 small little lamb chops for 52$ which is overpriced. We also got the octopus which was 44$ and it wasalready cut and I would estimate it was less than one full tenticle. Everything else was excellent Read more

A great night that almost didn’t happen! We decided to arrive before our reservation and have some drinks at the bar. Not... only were our cocktails mixed to perfection by Manny but we were overly impressed with his multitasking and the mastery of hiscraft. Just before we were due to be seated there was a power failure but the candles were lit and thankfully plans werecarried out by the staff regardless. The band resumed after the lights went back on and people enjoyed and evening of greatfood and dancing. Our waiter Ari was super attentive and helped make excellent suggestions for one of the group menus. All theitems were sumptuous and perfectly timed and prepared. The portions were very generous. Thanks to Manny, Kaliope and Ari forsuch a memorable evening! A definite must visit again when we are back in Montreal. Read more
