I order cupcakes from here a couple of times a year. I ordered 36 mini cupcakes for my birthday that I picked up Saturday at... 5pm. A couple of hours later, when we tried eating them, they did not taste fresh at all but going stale. I could not even serveor eat them at midnight when it was my birthday. I even let the store employee know on Monday before I checked out of my hotelin old Montreal but she could not do anything. The picture attached shows what we threw away Update 27oct2022 they sent me a 10$voucher for any future purchases. The cost of my 36 mini cupcakes was 65$ and I threw out 2 dozen. The lady behind the counter was incredibly rude. We were prompted to order by a stare and no words. We ordered two cupcakes and... a cappuccino for which we got charged about $24. She very slowly proceeded to make the coffee. While waiting we thought itseemed a bit expensive so upon adding up from the boards we totalled about $13+tax for what we had ordered. We brought this upwith her and she (again very slowly without speaking or apologizing) said she could reimburse us with ~$9 cash even though wehad paid by card. We said this was fine and left with our order. She never once greeted us, apologized for her mistake or was inany way polite. Cupcakes look very nice. We tested red velvet and choco cream. Disappointing unfortunately. They are MUCH TOO SWEET! Less sugar... would make them more tasty and healthy. Read more

Dirty. Few choices. Reluctant service. They closed one and a half hours early last night. Came back next... afternoon. Entrance door has sticky goo stuck to it. No bathrooms to wash your hands. No forks available to eat the cupcakeor knives to divide it. All cupcakes put on one dirty, caramel stained plate until i asked for a couple more even though therewere five of us. Early afternoon there were only about 7 cupcakes left in four flavors, so pictures on the website aredeceiving. Service was very reluctantly given and the server didn't mention she would bring out more as soon as we made ourpurchase. Pretty disappointing for the kids. Why go at all? [update to respond to response] Thank you for responding. I dofeel a responsibility to other guests to share my experience and to respond to your points. 1. Both the Google listing and thesign on the door itself said it would be open to 8 p.m. We arrived at 6:27, walked in and were told the store was closedanyway. I pointed to the sign on the door and the employee just shrugged. 2. I checked around the back hallway hoping theremight be a public bathroom to wash the sticky goo from the door handle off, but if there is a bathroom, it isn't marked or openbecause I certainly didn't see one. 3. There were no spoons, compostable or not, either from the employee herself or at theside counter. I asked. I ended up trying to cut the cupcakes with a plastic straw! 4. Not just was the door handle coveredin sticky goo, but the tables themselves were covered in crumbs. I don't think they had been wiped at all that day. 5. Therewere only a couple kinds of cupcakes languishing in the display. The employee did not offer to make any other flavors -- shedidn't even tell us that she was planning to bring out more as she just 3 minutes later! I assume she wanted to sell the oldones to us. These cupcakes are so good! I stop by the shop in Old Port every chance I get, and when I'm in the area. They have many great... flavors and I've had amazing service every time. They also offer a small cupboard handle if you need to carry your cupcakes home???? Read more
