Tried Osuka for the first time, liked it. Fresh, affordable and great service ????
Placed a delivery order after reading all the rave reviews on google. Sorry to say the place does not live up to... expectations. Ordered the 26 mcx combo, where the nori sheets were chewy and the sushi rice seemed stale. Even the pickledginger slices were cut too thick and inconsistently. Service was great, delivery was quick and prices are low. But there are somany better sushi places in Montreal and the plateau area in general. Read more
They were very nice people (person who was on the phone, delivery person). However, we were extremely disappointed by the... quality of the sushi, and it was expensive for what we received. I ordered something that had a type of tempura in it, but itwas soggy, as if it was yesterday's sushi. A small sushi shop that specializes in take out sushi. The price to quality ratio is pretty good considering it's Montreal. That... said the rolls have a lot of cheap filler such as of panko and rice. Better to call in your order ahead of time if you want toavoid the extensive wait time for your order to be made.
