We went around to eat some unusual country food..so visited because the reviews were good but soup and salad came out without... sincerity... waiter brought the food too rudely and l was disappointed that the price of the salad was different from what wason the menu...and they charged the ???? water....but tast was not bad Read more
We are visiting from California and our Uber driver from the airport was Moroccan and said he always went to L’Olive Noire... when he was homesick. It was an excellent recommendation! We had the special for 2—a soup (could have chosen salad), CouscousRoyal loaded with 3 types of protein, and dessert with tea for just $60 (Only $44USD) Everything was delicious and the portionswere so generous we couldn’t come close to finishing. +++ Amazingly tasty food. +++ Fair prices overall. +++ Nice ambience. --- Unsolicited menu items. --- Small space, with low... seating capacity. Really, the biggest offense of this place is its propensity for nickel-and-diming. Water will get charged onthe bill, and dessert will be brought even if it hasn't been requested - and then charged, of course. I love the food, I adoreit... but the practice of fooling customers into paying more for extra items is quite simply unforgivable in this day and age,and harkens to an outdated management style from a bygone era that rightly deserves to be squashed away. So good! Service was excellent, very attentive and understanding of us with two small kids. Prices look a bit high on paper but... on the plate, you get a ton of value for your money!
