Emergency patient here. I waited 8 hours straight before a doctor could see me. Vending machine not working properly... BTW. Doctor has been nice though, he has my sympathy. Put in place a "Registre de doleances" and make it available to patientsby placing it at the desk at the main entrance, let people know about it, so they can write down their feedbacks / suggestions. My dad was hospitalized and sent to the Jewish because its considered the "best" hospital for heart surgeries. He had open heart... surgery on the 5th of July 2022, then without doing any physio or walking with him and knowing his history of smoking/overweightand living on the 3 floor. They discharged him on the 15th of July. 2 days prior to being discharged, he had a bloodtransfusion. Then he passed away on the 19th of July, 4 days after being discharged because they didn't want to keep him in thehospital because they needed the bed for covid patients.. I lost confidence in this hospital and if anything ever happened tome, I don't want to be transferred to this hospital. AND to make matters worse, they called me today to ask how my father wasdoing. Even though my mom called they hospital 2 weeks after he passed away to let them know he passed away. Horrible hospital!! Read more

Just passing by this hospital gives me anxiety attack. I gave birth at their Birthing Center. They have a bunch of nurse... students and residents who have no clue of what they have to do and how. Thanks to them I had to have an emergency c-section andstay there for 5 days. It is scary how unsupervised they act. They blame now everything on pandemic. Nurses are rude andarrogant; they know more about your body than you do! Dare to correct them! Rooms for which they charge 190/night aredisgustingly dirty, no hot water. They keep you at the hospital as long as they can unnecessarily. NICU staff and theirlactation consultant are the only light in the darkness. Read more

This is the best hospital in Montreal and honestly probably the best out all big city hospitals I?ve ever been to (Toronto as... well) Anytime I need to go to the ER I?d rather go out of my way to come here. QUICK, clean, modern, efficient,compassionate. If only free healthcare was this way everywhere! Read more

I have used the emergency room here several times, and the Osteo department, and I keep coming back to the Jewish. Yes, they are... busy. Yes, they are overworked, stressed, and exhausted. Despite this, the staff at this hospital (doctors, nurses, cleaners,etc) are respectful, professional, and even have senses of humour. I?ve heard them deal very patiently with patients who arescreaming in their faces. I?ve dealt with male doctors (as a woman, always a gamble), but the male doctors there are actuallyprofessional and validate you, listen to you, and treat you with dignity. The Jewish is the bright spot in Quebec?s darkhealthcare system, and it is because of the nurses, doctors, and staff. You have made me feel safe and heard. Thank you! Read more
