The food is delicious. However, the owner of the restaurant (bald, tall guy) is extremely rude. I was in the area and found his... restaurant as I was passing by. The door was closed, so I assumed the restaurant was closed. I saw him in the restaurant, andhe looked at me but he didn?t flinch. Fine. I walked away, and I looked the restaurant up on Google Maps as I thought I shouldtry to go back when it?s open. As per Google Maps, the restaurant was already opened, so I thought maybe Google didn?t have themost up-to-date schedule. I called the restaurant, and I asked if the restaurant would be open right now. He answeredcondescendingly, "Yes, as you can see on Google" I was awed, but I let it go as not everybody has customer service skills. Iwalked back to the restaurant. I entered for the first time. I sat at the little table that?s right at the entrance, since I wasonly 1 person. He came by and told me rudely "That table is for UberEats orders" and gave me a DIRTY look. I apologized to him,and explained him that I wasn?t aware. I sat at another table. He serviced me very rustically and cold. At some point, he evenPICKED his nose in front of me, and swallowing noisily his phlegm. I was worried because he was the only cook that day. A groupof 4 young women came in to order, and his attitude was completely different. He was nice and welcoming, telling them he usuallydon?t open on Tuesdays, but given the circumstances he opened that day. My order was really good, a bit expensive as Africanfood usually is. He didn?t pay attention to me the whole time I was eating. When the time came to pay for me, all of the suddenhe was smiling, asking me if I enjoyed the food. I found his attitude very hypocrite. I gave him tip as a gesture ofappreciation for the food I got served. However, I do not intend to go back just because of his attitude. Unprofessional, rude, nasty, seems to favour a certain type of customers, and turns conveniently nice when it?s time to pay. Read more

I am not an authority on Senegalese cuisine as this was my first experience with it, but our meal was absolutely fabulous! The... staff was friendly and very helpful in explaining dishes to us, and the restaurant had a warm, cozy and dare I say , romanticatmosphere. We'll be back. Read more

We tried the Dibi. The quality of the food is really good and it?s tasty. However the price makes no sense. We paid 30$ for the... Dibi, they removed the old price (25$) and they also removed any side in the price. In total we paid more than 80$ for 2 Dibi. That?s the most expensive African restaurant we ever had in Montreal.
