I was told about this place many many times so finally I decided to give it a try. I break down my review into three parts.... Ambiance, Food and Service. Ambiance and Food get a 4 .5 but the service we got was just horrendous. had to find and call ourwaiter to give him our order(s) and then again run after him for a side dish of ketchup. this was 3.00 PM with only us andanother table in the whole place. The food and setting are excellent and our water glasses were kept full at all times which is a great sign, but, as several... reviews attest, the service is strangely disrespectful. Our server came by to take our order a few minutes after we were seatedand we weren't ready, so he said, take your time, I'll be back and then disappears for a full 30 minutes! And when he took ourorder, he failed to point out that there were specials (Dorale), which I would have preferred to what I ordered. Unfortunately,those are pretty serious service mistakes that notably diminished our enjoyment of the meal and experience. Read more
Pros: view overseeing the river, good service, plates came out at a good pace, French fries are decent. Cons: way overpriced... for what you get, most dishes are mediocre at best, portions are somewhat small, food arrived lukewarm, salmon tartar wasn'tcold enough, beef tartar was tough... many items seem to have been bought instead of homemade. As an example, you pay $11 foran onion ring and you get 6 or 7 pieces. Overall not worth the price. It's a little above fast-food but no way near what'soffered for the same price elsewhere in the city. Read more
