Lovely food, mostly good service on a busy Saturday night, great place to go with a couple of friends. Vegan friendly. Don't go... with people who won't try a dish they haven't heard of. Don't expect to find parking. Read more
Still a GEM of a restaurant and their delicacies taste the same as they did many years ago. Ageless and exquisite. 6 STARS!
Starters were amazing (Humous, vine leaves), wraps (Aleppo Kebab and Chiche Taouck) were bland. Service was bad. Waiter was... short in his answers. When we explained that we are actually from Aleppo and we were only asking questions to see if the dish iswhat we think it is he dismissed us by saying ?well, I?m obviously not from there? and walked away. Extremely disheartening! Idon?t live in Montreal but chose to go there because the name reminded me of my beloved city. Well, the service didn?t. Ifyou?ve ever been to Aleppo, you would know that everyone is welcome. Well, we were far away from feeling welcome and in fact weleft deflated and disheartened. Read more
