I had a good memory here, although the toilet was not very sanitary, the bar space was small and old, and I had to tip in... advance. But the cheap and large quantity of beer and the good service attitude of the bartender made me feel that my tip wasworth it. Read more
I mean if you're looking for a trashy low key bar, its just right for you. Beer is meh, bathrooms are disgusting, only cash bar,... live music is always wayyyy too loud. The only good thing about it is that its cheap and a good place to go with a huge crowdjust because it's usually pretty empty. Last time I stopped by, the entrance was flooded. It's been there for years and years and only just recently visited. I was pleasantly surprised. Clean, well lit, good old music,... and not too loud so you can chat with your pals. This place isn't for everyone, it's a place to hang out with your friends anddrink beer without being annoyed by posers. Read more
Cheap beer for a bar/pub downtown, but it?s also a very small place, it can get very crowded and the bands playing can get... annoying. Very outdated furniture and decor, dirty bathrooms and they didn?t have HD TVs the last time I went. They only servealcohol, no food, and they require you to tip as soon as you buy something. It?s a pretty weird policy to be honest becausesometimes you?re the one grabbing the beer pitcher and glasses from the bar but you?re still expected to tip them 15%+ just forpouring beer in your pitcher. Overall I wouldn?t recommend it unless you?re going with many college/university friends and priceis the only thing that matters for you, in which case it can be a great place to get drinks and start your night out.
