A impressive experience. Small but we'll design place with plates that look amazing. Good food quality and friendly service!... They have a lot more food options over the kitchen wall than the ones on the menu. Be sure to arrive early, the place go fullvery fast. Read more

Hands down my go to favorite restaurant of all time. I've never had a complaint with this place and I've been regularly going... there for over 4 years now. S tier food, S tier service. It's one of those small corner restaurants that you don't know aboutuntil you go in. Fresh food with the "wall menu" changing all the time with new and interesting items. If you like Japanesefusion go here. Read more

Very good restaurant with typical Japanese food as it is served in Japan. Not a regular sushi place. This is the place to get to... know how food is prepared and served in japan. It?s crowded so waiting time may happen depending on day and time you go there! It?s an amazing experience and I recommend. Read more

My favorite Japanese restaurant in Montreal. Small place with open kitchen concept, 4 seats at the kitchen bar and 7 tables that... fit two or four. There's usually a lineup outside as they don't take reservations so it's first come first serve. We went at 5pmand we were five. We waited 20 to be seated which was amazing considering there were lots of people already at the place. We hadthe salmon tartar, crispy black cod and Kalbi beef. Each dish was incredibly delicious and beyond satisfying. We also enjoyedtheir tofu kimchi appetizer. Their ice cream is not to be missed. This place is a must for those with a refined palate forJapanese and Korean food. The next time I go, I want to experience sitting at the bar to watch the chefs do their magic. Read more

Despite my name - I am actually Japanese and for the first time since moving here I felt like I was eating real Japanese food.... We ordered the bone marrow yakitori, forty eight hour pork w/ curry and deep fried beans - all of which were excellent. Withthat said, as is usually the case with small plate restaurants, the dish you least expect ends up being the highlight of themeal. Today, the green beans were no exception to this rule. The combination of rich truffle mayo and salty and crunchy beanswas perfect. I was also surprised to find actual vegetable chunks in the curry. Personally, I prefer when restaurant opt tomake a more homestyle sauce instead of blending it smooth. Overall, a fantastic meal. Will definitely be bringing my Japanesemother here. Read more
