I've been here for dinner and now for my first brunch experience. The entire staff is super friendly and engaging. This is... important because they all did a closing shift the night before and still managed to come in for a brunch shift with greatenergy. The food for both dinner and breakfast was absolutely delicious. Great ambiance, would highly recommend! Read more

While the restaurant was promising, I was a little disapointed with the foods. We had the experience menu with 10 services. Most... of the plate were too salty and the 2 greens plates were lacking flavor. The ceasar salad was uninspiring at best. The burratacould have been creamier and with more punch to it taste. The dessert was your common carrots cake. All of our friends weredisapointed with the foods. The only positive thing about the food was it quantity, we had doggy bag our sliders and our carrotscake. Our bill came out at 800$ for 7 people. We ordered a bottle of red and 4 cocktails. The service was ok, nothing out of theordinary. The restaurant is a little cramped and felt clostrophobic. Overall, I don't think I will be returning to thisrestaurant, there are so many better restaurants in Montreal at the same price point. Read more

I had the pleasure to share a delicious meal with my better half during it's first hour of business last Saturday at the... Vendetta side of Mauvais Garçons. Even though there was nobody there the smoking lounge/private club/speakeasy vibe spoketones and gave us that feeling of exclusivity. Right off the bat, when we called to reserve a table, we were greeted by anenergetic voice that set the mood just right. And now, about the service. Jordan was amazing with the service and talking to usabout the the restaurant's recent history. The food was amazingly tasty and we devoured every last bite. Around 7ish, peoplestarted raiding the place. Sexy ladies and handsome gentlemen were suddenly occupying the empty tables around us. Suddenly thevibe shifted and became even better than before. Can't wait to go back... that's a must! Read more

We went for the tasting experience which includes 9 tapas and 1 dessert. All dishes are very good in general and the portion is... good (for 2 to share) for a tapas. Arriving to the 6th tapas i start feeling full already, so i barely tried the last 2 tapas. The dessert is probably my favorite (me who generally don't like dessert!). The food was good but the place is a bit too dark inmy opinion, bistro style, and the sitting layout is a bit tight and uncomfortable. I wouldn't go for an anniversary dinner butcertainly a small group hangout. Read more

Excellent flavours, seasoning and apportioned food. Staff extremely courteous and friendly. Cozy outdoor terrace (albeit on... astroturf), but nicely lit comfortable. We ordered the tasting menu for four ($65/head at time of writing), and while a bitpricey there is really a lot of food. In fact, my one comment to the restaurant would be to consider offering two versions ofthis menu, one serving perhaps 6 (vs 10) courses at a slightly lower price ($45?$50). I have a good appetite and even I foundthe 10 courses too much to fully appreciate. That said, each dish was distinct and well seasoned. I especially enjoyed theopening salads. The chicken slider I found a bit sweet and at that point did not need the bun, but my dining companions wereunfazed and enjoyed it as is. The penultimate dish (slices of braised flank steak) I thought could have benefitted from a moretraditional salt and pepper only type dressing but again, others with me enjoyed it as it was prepared so this is just personalpreference. The non-alcoholic beer offerings were slim (Oshlag, blonde-alas no IPA) but the wine list was well curated. Theyeven made a mocktail version of their Lavander cocktail for my daughter. Overall the dining experience was very pleasant, thepacing of the dishes well timed and it is a fun way to enjoy a wide variety of dishes without having to make more than a singlechoice. The grand finale - carrot cake - was delicious and we all found a little more room in our extra dessert stomachs. Read more
