Happened to stay close by and this place is quite a gem. I am quite picky with my sashimi and sushi, and they definitely offer... top sushi grade quality fish. I think one of the best one I had in Eastern Canada, and I have to say very comparable to reallygood places in Japan. I had the omakase, $150, and is totally worth it for the quality that you will get. Even the rice and theWasabi(fresh made) were perfect. IMO, sushi and sashimi is really in that fine detail. Had the omakase here and while the sashimi was very fresh and the rolls were great, it did not wow me. I feel like the staters... were nothing special (miso soup + edamame) and the overall meal lacked depth of flavour and creativity I would expect inomakase. The dessert mochi was way too sweet, the flavor of the skin overwhelmed the lychee ice cream filling. Would be muchbetter if the mochi skin was not flavoured. Nice fancy sushi place with good service! The ingredients they use is very fresh. Also the interior is so pretty and elegant.
Snagged a reservation day of at the bar and LOVED it. Service was great and you can tell the staff really likes working there.... We did the tasting and everything was so beautifully plated. We sat at the bar and it was mesmerizing watching the chefs work.We'll definitely be back. Read more
