beautifully decorated, cozy and warm cafe in the heart of downtown! Various seating areas, creative drink/beverage options to... choose from, traditional and simple meals. However, the soup of the day (lentil soup) was not quite to my personal liking, sourand tangy - the only aspect I did not enjoy. We absolutely enjoyed this place. Nice staff, good atmosphere and you can find authentic food. The food was good (a bit much of... mayo) and the drinks were delicious (change your low quality paper straws) We very much liked the decor and ambiance. Beautiful Cafe. Explored recently Ordered a veg sandwich filled with veges and cheese, it was delicious. Ordered a four berry... smoothie and the smoothie was excellent too, refreshing drink on very hot day in MTL. The ambience of the Cafe is so cute. Ifelt I could sit there for work for long hours. I have been going to cafe Aunja for years and it never fails to deliver. The food, the amazing selection of hot and cold teas... and drinks, the cozy atmosphere and lovely decor... and located on Sherbrooke downtown in an area that is otherwise a cafedesert?! Aunja is too good to be true. I really enjoy working on my laptop there with lemon tea or any of their nice sandwichesor delicious Persian baked goods during the week. But the best thing ever is the breakfast! Eggs, nuts, olives, big pieces offeta cheese, it's so good and just makes for a nice day :) there are a few options and the omelettes are great too but nibblingon this one is my fav. I hope this gem never closes. Read more
